Music Pedagogy – Music S II

This degree programme:

• is aimed at students who have a bachelor’s degree in music and advanced artistic abilities;
• expands your teaching skills with practical and theory-based courses;
• offers one-to-one teaching in a core subject (instrument or voice) and individual support;
• trains you in singing, conducting and choral direction;
• lets you specialise in music education and offers you the opportunity to work on your own projects;
• enables you to expand your own artistic profile and benefit from a wide range of opportunities;
• includes optional modules and the choice of a minor subject, allowing you to tailor the programme to your interests and strengths;
• allows you, after four semesters, to earn an upper secondary-school teaching qualification (two semesters) at the teacher training university PH Bern.
