Situation
Data publications pose an organizational and technical challenge. Empowering public administration requires comprehensive advice and support.
Course of action
CSV files are converted into a networked data structure (RDF) through mapping, loaded into the triple store and are then structured, networked and queryable – a basis for data integration, transparency and Open Government.
Result
The monitoring data can be queried using SPARQL and is available in machine-readable form on the (official) LINDAS publication platform; the "Vizualize" tool can create visualizations directly.
Looking ahead
The experience gained in cleaning up/defining the data model can be standardized and transferred to other organizations. The value increases as more data sets are linked. Ensure that international vocabularies are used (e.g. DCAT, I14Y) to guarantee connectivity.
