Situation
The overall aim of the mandate is to provide high-quality training to FDFA staff working in international cooperation in order to strengthen their knowledge and skills in adaptive and results-based management, as well as its application within the institution. The training will contribute to fulfilling the mission of the Quality and Digitalisation section (QD), which is to ensure high-quality project and programme cycle management. Learning and the exchange of experiences are key priorities for SDC. Strengthening steering and monitoring capabilities, as well as improving the reporting of results within the framework of the Dispatch on Switzerland’s International Cooperation (2025–2028 and beyond) and the Agenda 2030, are key objectives. In particular, the adaptive and results-based management (RBM) training aims to enhance SDC’s capacity to deliver results, as outlined in the IC Strategy, including in complex and uncertain contexts.
